Giles has 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry. His practice looks after 150 clients in the medium to high income sector and manages approximately R0.6bn of clients’ assets. While his value proposition embraces holistic financial planning, he places a strong focus on ensuring that his clients are strategically positioned for their retirement.
Giles moved to South Africa in 1992 and spent 18 years in the fleet management sector both in the UK and SA with the Imperial Group where he provided financial solutions for corporates in respect of vehicle fleets. A career change in September 2001 saw him join newly-established Mint Financial Planning, soon to become Private Wealth Management. Giles has twice been awarded the Private Wealth Management KZN Financial Planner of the Year.
He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the University of the Free State and is a Certified Financial Planner.
